About Coca Cola

John Pemberton, an American pharmacist was the one who founded the company in 1886. He was actually looking to cure problems such as tiredness, headaches, and others. He made an attempt to mix some ingredients and finally he invented the Coca Cola Recipe. He then showed this mixture to Atlanta where we meet the representative of Jacobs’ Pharmacy.

This product because pretty popular in the area and that is why local pharmacies started selling the mixture. They were charging 5 cents for one glass and decided to name the drink as Coca-Cola. However, John decided to sell the company in 1888. The new owner of the Coca-Cola company was a businessman who invested some budget to promote the drink.

The company decided to increase its customers by packing the drink in bottles in 1895. Later on, in 1917 Coca-Cola began exporting the product to France, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and other countries. The first promotional campaign was then launched in 1920 with a huge budget. It was the result of these campaigns that the soft drink was used in almost every house hold by 1930. Today the Coca Cola is successfully selling its products (not only the famous Coca Cola Drink) in more than 200 countries.
