IQ Option is a trading platform founded in 2013, and allows you to trade Forex, commodities, options, cryptocurrencies and stock CFDs.

With more than 7 million registered users, IQ Option is considered to be one the leading Online Trading Brokers in Europe and Worldwide.

Platforms and Interfaces

IQ Option offers support for mobile (Apple and Android), desktop (MacOS and Windows) and browser (Chrome, Opera, Firefox and Safari).

The website supports the following languages: Indian, Pakistani, Russian, English, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Turkish, Italian, German, Korean, French, Swedish and Thai.

IQ Option lets you trade up to 25 ETFs with 25:1 leverage. These ETFs give you access to stock market indexes like the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones.

You can sign in using your Facebook or Google account, or sign up for an account using your e-mail address.

IQ Option demo accounts offer $10,000 in virtual money. This allows you to practice trading strategies and techniques in an environment exactly like that of the real account. You can gain access to the real account with a deposit as small as $10.

VIP Account (Non EU Residents)

The VIP account carries with it significant benefits, such as a personal account manager, personal tutoring, access to exclusive training materials, increased profitability, faster withdrawals and free registration to the site’s trading tournaments.

Options

IQ Option also offers options on Forex currencies and various stocks. These are not traditional options, but rather binary options, which have a fixed return if the price has gone up or down when the option expires. The site also offers another kind of binary option, that the site calls “digital options” These are similar to binary options, except that they have a return that varies proportionally with the increase or fall of the underlying asset. Binary options for stocks are not available but both binary and digital options for Forex currency pairs are available.

IQ Option offers four CFD commodities that can be bought and sold: Crude Oil Brent, Crude Oil WTI, Silver and Gold.

IQ Option offers 24/7 customer support with native language support and separate numbers for these countries: United Kingdom, Brazil, Singapore, India, South Africa, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Australia, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.

Withdrawal requests with a regular account can take up to three days. Using the bank transfer option may require you to pay a $31 fee (or equivalent). Withdrawals must be of at least $2 AUD.

There is also an inactive account fee that applies to accounts that have had no trades for 90 consecutive calendar days. The fee is $10 AUD, but it shall not exceed the total balance in the account.

The funds in the practice account can be replenished whenever the account balance falls below $10,000. Within the platform itself there is a live chat that can be utilized to get you support you need.

IQ Option has a blog that has many articles covering several different areas of trading that their website supports. Articles can be found on Forex, Stocks, Commodities and Indices. There is also an educational section pertaining to digital and binary options, as well as the ins and outs of technical analysis indicators like RSI (Relative Strength Index) and others.

Competitions

IQ Option offers trading tournaments with prize pools of up to $50,000. Entry fees are only a few dollars and VIP members get free entry into these tournaments. The structure of these tournaments is similar to a poker tournament in that the top finishers get payouts, with the winner getting the highest payout and the prize amounts descending from there. You can also perform rebuys to get back into the tournament when you run out of money in your tournament account.

Conclusion

IQ Option is well-regarded and offers a wide array of financial instruments to trade. However, it is off-limits to residents of the U.S., Canada and Japan. While this eliminates a large number of competent traders, it is still open to much of the world. However, their support can be slow and unresponsive unless you get the account manager that comes with the VIP account.
